Social Sculpture Acro No. 2
A group of around 35 people was divided into smaller groups to make sculptures building up from one or more of their own bodies.
The sculptures had to be able to be built up and down in a small period of time, able to 'be' for at least 3 seconds and start with one or more people as a 'base' of the sculpture that holds the rest of the structure.

When all groups were ready I asked them to join me in a circle. By numbering the groups, I gave them the instructions to build up, 'be' for 3 seconds and build down again, after which the next group would immediately follow with building up, 'being' for three seconds and building off, until every group had shown their performance.

This set up gave participants the role of spectator, performer and maker of the work, all at once.
The work is made together, for each other, the outside spectator is not the main public anymore.
